Queering HGM – Hidden Stories and Visible Traces of Queer History at the HGM
We uncovering overlooked queer histories in the military, revealing stories of identity, resistance, and visibility beyond traditional narratives.
In this guided tour, we will explore what has often been overlooked or silenced in (military) history. Using selected objects and biographies, we examine queer identities and spheres of agency within a military context—situated between conformity, persecution, and queer culture. Queering HGM invites visitors to see the museum in a new way and to view history from a perspective that had no place for al long time. A guided tour with Sarah Süß, HGM cultural mediator.
Duration approx. 90 minutes. No registration required. Guided tour ticket €4 plus museum admission.
