Presentation in the special exhibition room from 11 February 2026

The exhibition focuses on the people who do not fight on the front in the Ukraine war, but are nevertheless directly affected by events. With the support of the NGO Culture vs War, pictures were taken to document the effects of the Russian onslaught on Ukraine between 2023 and 2025. The exhibition illustrates the daily routine of Ukrainian civilians and throws the cruelty of war and the suffering of those affected into stark relief. Pursuant to international law, targeted attacks on civilians and their infrastructure are war crimes. The Museum of Military History presents the exhibition in partnership with the Ukrainian-Austrian Association (UAA).
